About

I'm an engineer based in Indonesia. I work full-stack: TypeScript, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, Express, Laravel, Flutter, most recently at eBuddy, where I architected a rent-friend platform on Next.js, React Native, Firebase, and serverless Google Cloud infrastructure.

The kind of problems I find most satisfying are the boring-sounding ones. Why is the bundle this large. Why is the query this slow. Why did SSR quietly stop working. The wins don't fit on a screenshot, but the user feels them: a 50% lift in performance and SEO scores, a cloud bill cut in half.

Long before I wrote code, I was a penceramah, an Indonesian word for a public speaker, often religious, who stands in front of an audience and explains. As a child I did this often. It taught me that an idea you can't say out loud is an idea you don't really understand yet. I'm still trying to live up to that.

This site is my attempt to write more: about software, about books, about thinking carefully when the world rewards the opposite. If you end up here and want to talk, my email is the best way.
